Fair use policy applies: minimum 5 lbs/load; up to 4 pickups per week; maximum 1 per day. Additional weight charged at $3/lb above 10 lbs. Memberships renew automatically each month via autopay. 30-day cancellation notice required. Parent/guardian authorization required for students ages 14–17. WeClean staff may enter dorm rooms only during scheduled times and perform cleaning tasks as listed in the plan. We do not process dry-clean-only items, leather, suede, or ultra-bulky items (duvets, pillows), which are quoted separately.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services (including laundry and room cleaning memberships) and our website (welaundry.com), and what rights you have regarding your data.

2.1 From Students & Guardians

Full name (student and guardian)
Room number (for service logistics)
Contact information (phone, email, WhatsApp)
Payment details (credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe)
Service usage data (loads, cleanings, schedules)
Authorization forms (for minors ages 14–17)

2.2 From Website Visitors

Contact details submitted via forms (name, email, phone)
Technical data (IP address, browser type, cookies, analytics)
Lead capture data from Housecall Pro integration

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Provide laundry and cleaning services (pickup, delivery, room cleaning).
Manage memberships, autopay billing, invoices, receipts, and estimates.
Communicate with students and guardians (service reminders, support).
Confirm checklist registration at North Broward Prep events.
Improve our website and services through analytics.
Ensure compliance with safety and authorization requirements for minors.
Send marketing communications (only with prior consent, opt-out available).

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following legal bases:

Performance of a contract: to deliver the services you have purchased.
Consent: for marketing and communications (you may withdraw at any time).
Legal obligation: to comply with U.S. and Florida laws regarding minors and service liability.
Legitimate interest: to improve our operations, customer experience, and security.

5. Sharing of Information

WeClean does not sell or rent personal information. We only share data with:

Service providers (e.g., Stripe, Housecall Pro, Google Workspace) to process payments, scheduling, and communications.
School administrators if required to confirm checklist compliance.
Legal authorities if required by law, subpoena, or court order.

All third-party providers are required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes contracted.

6. Data Retention

Customer and service data is retained for as long as you maintain an active membership and up to 24 months after cancellation, unless longer retention is required by law.
Payment data is processed by Stripe and never stored directly by WeClean.
Website analytics and cookies are retained per Google Analytics’ policies.

7. Security

We implement reasonable physical, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including:

Encrypted payment processing via Stripe.
Restricted access to personal data (staff background-checked).
Secure servers and password-protected systems.

8. Minors’ Data

Services are available to students ages 14–17 only with explicit parent/guardian authorization.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Guardians remain responsible for approving and overseeing the use of services by minors.

Our website uses cookies and tracking technologies to:
